To maintain an Academic Scholarship, the student must continue to achieve the prescribed Grade Point Average in the undergraduate program.

Financial-Need Scholarships
Financial Need Scholarships may also be awarded, but only to students with academic achievement of not less than a cumulative GPA of 2.5 and demonstrated, proven financial need.
Students desiring to be considered for a Financial-Need Scholarship must:
provide notarized/official documentation to verify the information in their Financial Resource Statement
write a letter applying for financial aid and indicate why they should be considered
Financial-need scholarship decisions are made on a case-by-case basis.
Work-Study: Some financial-need scholarships are provided by means of the work-study program. In this program, students are assigned to clean, monitor the library, assist in office, etc. and credit for hours worked is used to reduce their bill.
Financial-Need scholarships may only be retained by maintaining a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 2.5. Failure to maintain this GPA means automatic loss of the financial-need scholarship and exclusion from the work-study program in the following semester. The student will be responsible for paying full price for his/her tuition costs. If the student increases his/her GPA to at least 2.5, he/she has the right to reapply for the financial-need scholarship.
Scholarships are not available for:
repeated courses: students who earn a “W/F” or “F” in a course must pay full price when they re-take the course, or
a second Bachelor’s degree or a second Specialization within the BBA program. (These additional courses would need to be paid for at full price minus any relevant academic scholarship assistance).
Financial Aid for Study-Abroad
Study-Abroad students generally maintain their Financial Aid through their home institution. IU is pleased to assist students in working out these details. First, however, students should obtain information from their adviser at their home institution.
