13.12.2008 IU Alumni Reunion in Vienna
This was a historic week as the first Alumni Reunion in Vienna was organized. On Saturday the alumni gathered at a local restaurant to catch up on what has been happening in each others’ lives. Each alumna or alumnus is an important part of the IU international family of nations.
In the last few days greetings have been received from Galina K. who began working for P&G Ukraine immediately after her graduation and then moved to Holland where she is working in Corporate Marketing for Credit Europe Bank.
Dicky S. was 1 of only 100 persons – selected out of 30,000 – to serve in the Foreign Ministry of Indonesia.
John B. from the U.S. asked to be remembered. He is a Customer Support Manger for JP Morgan Chase.

We were pleased to hear one of IU’s distinguished alumni, Mrs. Andrijana Ruzic-Terglav, speak in the Auditorium on Tuesday, September 9, at 17:30 Hours.
Andrijana is the Marketing Officer for the South African Embassy in Vienna, and her work has to do with both diplomacy and business. His Excellency Dr. Ashot Hovakimian, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia spoke on the topic Armenia at a Crossroads.
H.E. Hovakimian has an extensive academic background in Slavic and Balkan Studies, including serving at the Armenian National Academy of Sciences. He has held Charge d' Affaire and Ambassador posts in Athens, Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, before assuming his current post as Ambassador of Armenia to Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic, and the Slovak Republic. In addition, he has fulfilled other diplomatic posts including serving at the Balkans, European Desk.
